Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Angio Tech)

Job Description

• Assist with Cardiac and Interventional Radiology (IR) interventions in the Cath Lab.
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Call coverage on weekends as needed; every 3rd weekend on call

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • California Fluoroscopy Permit
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients

Additional Requirements

• Must provide full 7 years of work history with no gaps over 30 days
• Employment verification required for up to 7 years
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years (Aya requirement)
• Completion of facility-specific documents and trainings prior to start (e.g., Code of Conduct, Vendor Training, Regulatory Orientation)
• Background screenings including FACIS Level 3, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List, and others as required by facility
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for a Cath Lab Tech with at least 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology assisting with cardiac and IR interventions. The position requires standard certifications (ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Permit), comprehensive background checks, immunizations, and health screenings. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks with a 4x10 hour shift schedule and weekend call coverage every third weekend.
