Description
Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Contract
Location: Escondido, California
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday requested, or 2 Sundays per month with Monday-Friday otherwise
- Part-time Option: Available (20-30 hours/week) with at least 2 Sundays per month
Facility Overview
- 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Focus on treatment and recovery for patients with stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Provides customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs
Patient Population
- Adults recovering from severe injury or illness requiring physical medicine and rehabilitation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Weekend hours include two Sundays per month
- No call requirements specified
- No prior travel experience required
