Description
Job Opportunity: Obstetrics / L&D RN
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification through the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses
- STABLE Program - STABLE Learner certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (BSN) or Master’s (MSN) degree in Nursing
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Bilingual in Spanish

- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing costs are high, especially in winter. Nearby towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs may offer options. Typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in Basalt is around $3,500/month.
