Description

Travel RN - Step Down (ACU/Stepdown and Telemetry)

Location: Springdale, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care to patients in the PCU/Telemetry unit using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • Float to Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas.
  • Minimum 2 years of stepdown nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

  • Scrub color: Gray
  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
