Description

Travel RN - Step Down (ACU/Stepdown and Telemetry)

Location: Springdale, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required

Job Description

Provide nursing care to patients in the PCU/Telemetry unit using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Float to Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas.
Minimum 2 years of stepdown nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Scrub color: Gray
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
