Description

Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: Start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, end between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday with 1 weekend shift per month (weekend shifts are self-selected)
  • Patient Population: Acute care patients including higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic cases
  • Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy
  • Patient Ratios: Approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
  • Equipment: Basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts
  • Documentation System: Sunrise Allscripts
  • Floating Policy: Covers all inpatient units and Emergency Department; NICU patients not covered
  • Daily Assignments: Therapists typically assigned to 1-2 floors

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
