Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in interventional radiology performing minimally invasive interventional techniques.
• Serve as the first point of contact for referrals and patients.
• Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments.
• Make recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families under the guidance of the interventional radiologist.
• Perform daily rounds and communicate patient progress to medical staff and radiologist.
• Patient population: Adult and Geriatric.
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization, EP ablations, peripheral angiograms, cerebral angiograms, and TEE/Cardioversions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology.
• Experience providing moderate sedation.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Illinois nursing license.
• COVID and Flu vaccinations required (declinations will not be approved).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience highly preferred.
• Prior Cerner EMR experience highly preferred.

Additional Information

• EMR system: Cerner Level II Trauma.
• Dress code: Any scrubs.
• Must provide resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), 2 supervisory references, active certifications, license, COVID vaccination status, and agency IL nursing license upon submission.
