Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Temp)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to work day shifts in a hospital setting. The role involves working alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech/Traveler and requires availability for weekends, evenings, and on-call duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in MRI (MR) – Required
• Experience with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment – Required
• Meditech Expanse experience – Highly preferred
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
• Must have own vehicle
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must provide:

  • Work history and skills checklist demonstrating current MRI experience (within 1 year)
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years

Additional Information

• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
• Holiday and overtime multipliers apply
• The department is covered by call after midnight
• Always work with another tech; no solo shifts
