Job Opportunity: RN - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry (Travel)
Location: West Burlington, Iowa

Job Description
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Care for patient populations including Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
- Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
- Must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance; a basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
- Estimated work week is 36 hours with possible overtime.
- Cerner EMR experience required.
- ACLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
- Minimum years of specialty experience: Not explicitly stated (default to typical MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience; no conflicting data).

- Background Check including Adult and Child Abuse registry checks.
- Education Verification (highest level applicable to RN).
- Skills Checklist (completed within 12 months).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start.
- OSHA Questionnaire.
- Driver’s License/State ID current and valid.
- Professional References: 2 required, 1 must be from a supervisor.
- Resume/Profile submission required.
- I-9 Attestation on agency letterhead.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (American Heart Association or Apex Innovations only).
Additional Information
- Must pass a dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to work on Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
