Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Nights (may change based on permanent staff scheduling)

Job Description
- Work in a Level I Trauma Center, Short Term Acute Care hospital.
- Must be willing to work 48-hour shifts.
- Large hospital experience preferred.
- On-call and weekend shifts required as needed.
- No local candidates accepted (100-mile radius rule).
- No pending licenses accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines.
- Weekend block scheduling generally not accommodated (may consider weekend block).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience working with Level I Trauma patients.
- Trauma experience.
- Minimum 2 years of total travel nursing experience.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by AHA or ARC.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by AHA or ARC.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is explicitly required (minimum 2 years travel experience and recent ER experience).
- First-time travelers generally not accepted unless they have over 3 years recent ER experience.
- Strict compliance with all licensing, certification, and immunization requirements.
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed.
- Photo badge required with strict guidelines (passport-style photo, no glasses, no head coverings except for religious reasons, no piercings visible).
- Onsite fit test and EPIC questionnaire required for RNs.
- Must submit all required documentation including driver’s license, social security card, I-9, and others prior to start.
This position is ideal for experienced ER Registered Nurses with prior travel experience looking for a night shift contract in a Level I Trauma Center in Memphis, TN.
