Description
Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Description
- Work in a 42-bed Heart Failure / Stroke Unit specializing in neurological and cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure and acute stroke.
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and neurologists to provide expert care for complex neuro-cardiac patients.
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
Schedule & Hours
- Holidays as required
- Every other weekend
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

- This is a patient-facing clinical position
- EMR system used: Meditech
- Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
