Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care for MedSurg patients, including oncology med/surg overflow and post-OR recovery patients.
Float as needed within scope of practice.
Patient ratio approximately 1:5.
Work includes 12-hour night shifts.
Must adhere to fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments.
BLS certification required.
Pass/fail exam during orientation (open book, 90% required to pass).

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience required.
BLS Certification.
Valid driver’s license required at time of application (used to verify candidate is outside a 50-mile radius).
Open to first-time travel nurses.

Additional Information

Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with certain large healthcare systems within a 50-mile radius.
Artificial nails are prohibited; refusal to comply will result in contract termination.
Orientation includes a skills exam that must be passed to continue employment.
