Job Opportunity: MedSurg/PCU Nurse (Night Shift)

Location: Newport, Vermont

Job Description

Position for PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry nurse on night shift
Includes every other weekend rotation
Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
Floating to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Nursing (MedSurg/PCU/Telemetry)
Required License: Registered Nurse (RN) license for Vermont
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS
Years of Experience: 5 years in specialty (Nursing)
Prior travel experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Additional Information

Agency professionals must attend department quarterly education sessions
Critical access hospital environment with 25 beds

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
