Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Pomona, California
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Job Details
- Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Shift Times: Varied between 07:00-17:30 or 08:00-18:30
- Weekends: Required
- On-Call: Required on weekends, holidays, and after hours depending on department needs
- Attendance: Three missed shifts may result in cancellation of assignment
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- California Fluoroscopy certification
Required Licenses and Certifications
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Fluoroscopy certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
- Tech Certification: ARRT verification required for Interventional Radiology Tech
- State License: California Radiology license (RHB) with Fluoroscopy certification
Preferred Certifications
- CCRN (Critical Care RN) preferred for Interventional Radiology RNs
- NIH Stroke Certification (required for Interventional Radiology units)
Prior Travel Experience
- No explicit prior travel experience required
Required Health and Compliance Documents
- Physical exam within 12 months, cleared to work without restrictions
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines
- Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Hepatitis C
- Tdap vaccine or declination within 10 years
- Seasonal Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (no instant tests)
- Fit mask test for approved masks (N95 or equivalent)
- Medical Release Form (annual)
- Background checks including Social Security Address Check (last 15 years), National Criminal Search, Sex Offender Search, Education Verification, and others as required by facility
Facility Specific Requirements
- Dress Code: Solid colored scrubs only (no camouflage, jean texture, or character patterns)
- Badge photo: Passport-like photo on plain blue background required within 72 hours of signing
- Completion of facility orientation packet and acknowledgment prior to start
- Completion of required training modules via facility LMS platform (WorkRamp) with passing score above 80%
- Review and sign various facility policies including hygiene, timekeeping, privacy, and COVID-19 exposure questionnaire
- Annual competency exams including medication/pharmacology competency with minimum 80% score
- References: Two professional references required, including one from most recent experience
- Complete 15 years of work history on employment application, including locations and any time off
Important Notes
- Radiation badges for new candidates are not provided by the agency; new hires must obtain their own badge from the facility
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI course required for ER RNs (not specifically stated for IR)
- Drug Diversion Module required for RNs and LVNs prior to start
