Travel RN - Med Surg

Location: Elko, Nevada

Weekend Hours: Variable
Call Requirements: As per contract
Float Requirements: Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs
Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric
Patient Ratios: 1:5
Unit Beds: 23
Equipment Used: Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo Monitors, GE Telemetry Monitoring system
Electronic Health Record (EHR): MEDHOST

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

COPD
CHF
Pre/Post Cath Lab care
Orthopedic Surgery
General Surgery
Acute Respiratory Failure (Adult & Pediatrics)

Additional Information

Fit testing is offered on-site
No mandatory scrub color; scrubs of any color are acceptable
Contract length: 13 weeks
Must be greater than 60 miles from facility to be considered travel
