Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Bremerton, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Oversee the delivery of dialysis and patient care in a chronic, in-center dialysis setting.
- Provide education to patients regarding their treatment.
- Supervise Dialysis Technicians.
- Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Participate in quality improvement projects.
- Collaborate with the patient care team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists.
- Work any day Monday through Saturday, with shifts varying between AM and PM based on staffing needs.
- Must be able to work at multiple clinic locations on the peninsula.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Washington State or a Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Previous dialysis experience is required.
- Prior experience in acute or ambulatory nursing is preferred.
Additional Information
- This is a chronic dialysis position covering multiple clinic locations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and locations is essential.
