Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bremerton, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Oversee the delivery of dialysis and patient care in a chronic, in-center dialysis setting.
Provide education to patients regarding their treatment.
Supervise Dialysis Technicians.
Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and care plans.
Monitor patient outcomes.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Participate in quality improvement projects.
Collaborate with the patient care team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists.
Work any day Monday through Saturday, with shifts varying between AM and PM based on staffing needs.
Must be able to work at multiple clinic locations on the peninsula.

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Washington State or a Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
Current CPR certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
Previous dialysis experience is required.
Prior experience in acute or ambulatory nursing is preferred.

Additional Information

This is a chronic dialysis position covering multiple clinic locations.
Flexibility to work various shifts and locations is essential.

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
