Travel RN Telemetry I - MedSurg Tele and PCU (Rhode Island)

Job Description
- Float RN position covering MedSurg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Must have 2+ years of recent cardiac nursing experience
- Experience with cardiac catheterizations and cardiac patients on PCU required
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday (day shifts)
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island (compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must show prior use of ACLS in previous positions; simply obtaining certification to be compliant is not acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years cardiac nursing experience
- Submission must include:
- Cover sheet
- Resume
- Skills checklist
- 2 professional references (one from a manager or direct supervisor)
- License/certification verification (Nursys report within 30 days)
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Required Certifications and Compliance
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Nursys license verification
- COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster or completed declination)
- MMR vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- Influenza vaccine or declination (declinations not accepted in some locations)
- TB test
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
- Physical/health statement (clear to work)
- Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test)
- National criminal background check within one year
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9)
- Various competency exams and skills checklists (must score 80% or higher)
- Prime agency attestation and other professional verifications as required
