Description

Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapist (Occupational Therapy) - Days

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 20 weeks

Job Description

Provide rehabilitation therapy services in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients.
Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
Independently manage a full caseload.
Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements.
Work may include Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed.
Use department equipment and electronic medical records systems.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year.
Experience working with adult patients.
Experience in both acute care and outpatient settings.
BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross.

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
Timely arrival is mandatory; do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
