Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech
Location: Eureka, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in California
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- California Fluoroscopy Certification
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) Certification
Work Requirements
- Weekend shifts: Not specified
- Must be able to float between similar units
- On-call duties required
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years. Includes SSN trace, death master index, nationwide sex offender check, education verification, and more.
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests).
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test (annual, travel only)
- Immunizations: TDAP, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu seasonal vaccine (or declination), COVID vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual update required)
- Respiratory safety clearance (travel only)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format for dates
Training and Competency
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
- Annual regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules for Radiology/Imaging
- Epic training modules (must be completed and transcript submitted before moving to paid status)
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Color blindness testing if required by unit
Additional Notes
- Scrub color for Radiology staff: Black
- Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
- Floating policy acknowledgment required
- Must comply with all state-specific and facility-specific requirements
