Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Jackson, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching. Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additionally, dealing with Host Healthcare has been a seamless experience from compliance and onboarding.

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
