Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Florence, Alabama

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Med Surg specialty to provide patient care on a medical-surgical unit. This is a travel assignment with rotating weekend shifts and no call requirements.

Unit Information

Unit Type: Medical-Surgical
Floor: 3400
Number of Beds: 18
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Meditech
Shift: 3 for 7 AM and 3 for 7 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Float Requirements: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
Minimum 5 years of Med Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with adult patients
Experience working with geriatric patients

Additional Information

No call requirements
Rotating weekends
Must be a team player and willing to take ownership of the position
Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
