Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Echocardiology
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work as a Cardiac ECHO Sonographer within the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services department.
- Facility is a level III trauma center with a broad range of medical services including surgical, rehabilitation, pediatric, behavioral health, and extensive imaging.
- Patient population includes all age groups (adult and pediatric).
- Equipment used includes GE Vivid E95.
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- Weekend hours: Call every 5th weekend.
- Call requirement: One week every 5th week.
- Team environment described as engaging and supportive.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Adult Echocardiography license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Adult Echocardiography experience within the last year
- Certification: CCI or RDCS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
