Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General

Location: Franklin, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Shift: Evening, 4 PM - 10 PM, Wednesday to Friday (18 hours/week)

Job Description

• Perform general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound procedures.
• Must be able to operate Meditech and Philips equipment.
• First-time travelers must be experienced sonographers.
• Over 1 year of specialty experience required.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience within the last year.
• Experience with MEDITECH.

Additional Information

• No call responsibilities.
• Evening shift only.
• Facility requires completion of various onboarding and compliance documents prior to start.
• Performance evaluations and skills checklists must be updated annually.
• Drug screening includes a second test onsite during orientation.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions allowed.
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific health and safety protocols.

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required; however, first-time travelers must be experienced sonographers.
