Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovations in care delivery.
Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience within the last year.
Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
