Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Summary
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provide care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by Radiologists or Cardiologists.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT certification applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI, or VI) or RCIS certification
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Radiology Technologist experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various body fluids, and ionizing radiation.
- Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment.
- Subject to stressful professional relationships.
- Flexible working hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.
- Physical demands include lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients and equipment over 50 lbs.
Additional Information
- Weekend work required.
- On-call requirement: approximately 10 out of 12 days per month, including weekends.
This position is a travel assignment with a 13-week contract length. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
