Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatrics. Pediatric critical care, pulmonary function test lab, and rehab experience are preferred.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 3x12 hour day shifts
• Weekend: Every other weekend
• On-call: Yes (details to be discussed during interview)
• Floating: Potential to float within scope to long-term care facility
• Block schedule: Not accommodated
• Guaranteed hours: Yes (36-48 hours weekly depending on shift pattern)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Montana
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug testing (9 panel) within 1 year
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination form during flu season
• COVID vaccination required (exemptions accepted)
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• Facility-specific documents including dress code, parking policy, confidentiality, emergency codes, and contract certification form

Additional Notes

• Start date: ASAP, with at least 2 weeks from offer due to compliance processing
• Return to work (RTO) restrictions: 1 request per contract, max 1 week; no RTO in first 2 weeks due to orientation
• Scrub color: Any (per dress code policy)
• Facility will conduct mask fit testing onsite on first day
