Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views as requested by the physician.
- Complete all routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patient bedside.
- Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
- Operate film processing equipment.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
- Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer skills required.
Dress Code:
- Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs.
- No hooded sweatshirts.
- Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or clogs).
- Hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length.
- No dangling earrings.
Additional Notes:
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles will not be considered.
- Candidate must have their own vehicle due to limited public transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Experience working with Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
- Proficient in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
