Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
Equipment used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo’s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
Current NICU/PICU experience
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Certifications: BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Job Responsibilities

Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
Utilize advanced respiratory technologies and medication delivery
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment with a patient care focus

Work Environment & Culture

Team player, critical thinker, adaptable to change
Dress code: Light Gray (Silver) uniform required
Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center with Level 3 NICU
Tertiary care and teaching facility with certified comprehensive stroke center
