Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Level II Trauma Center
- Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Procedure Suites: 5
- Staff: 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~4.6 RNs, 5 Techs
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: Full staff coverage
- Night Shift: On-call crew for emergent cases only
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1 patient per 3-4 staff members
- Equipment Used: Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
- EMR Systems: MacLab & Meditech
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures
- Work with devices such as pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures
- Must have experience with Cardiac Cath, CRM, and PV procedures
- Preferred experience with EP/ABL procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
- Experience with Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM)
