Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Unit Overview

Level II Trauma Center
Bed Capacity: 309
Unit: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab (2 EP Labs)
Staff: 1 Cardiovascular Technician, 4.5 RNs
Shift Types: Day and Night shifts
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: GE X-ray system, Claris hemodynamic system
EMR Systems: Mac Lab, Meditech

Job Description

Monitor and scrub EP cases
Assist with procedures such as A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostics, device insertions, and TEE/CV
Work collaboratively with a team of physicians and staff in a robust EP program
No call requirement
Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
Electrophysiology Cardiovascular Technician (EP CVT) experience
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to monitor and scrub EP cases

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Cath Lab procedures
Easy-going, self-starter, team player personality
