Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position involves working in a small critical access hospital covering Emergency Room (ER), Acute, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas.
Nurses will cover all areas as there are no separate units.
Shifts consist of six 12-hour shifts (72 hours) over a two-week period, with every third weekend off.
When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, the nurse will provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
When assigned to medication administration, the nurse will pass medications and perform procedures for LTC and acute patients.
This facility is not latex-free.
Hours are not guaranteed.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

Must have an active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).
BLS/BCLS certification required.

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is required.
Candidates not currently holding a Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer.
