Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Trauma Level: Level III
Number of Beds: 14
Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
Patient Population: Adult
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Float Requirement: Required to float to other inpatient nursing units

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – flexible on this certification
All certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience
ICU nursing experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Must be able to work in a Level III trauma center environment
Opportunity to work in a facility serving a diverse adult patient population with medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services
Float to other inpatient nursing units as needed
