Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Unit Description

• 33-bed cardiovascular care unit
• Patient population includes STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery ICU patients, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise
• Float to Med/Surg or ER to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds required
• No block scheduling; flexibility required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Stepdown Unit (SDU)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
• Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but applicants without active copies may still be considered)

Additional Information

• Patient ratio approximately 1:4
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
• On-call pay provided with minimum 1-hour payout
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
• No increased rate for overtime, holiday, or call-back hours
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
