Registered Nurse - MS/Tele/PCU - Night Shift
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in assigned areas. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients upon admission using interview techniques to gather past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
- Participating in the planning and implementation of written care plans under physician direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
- Strong experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) units required
Skills
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Additional Information
- Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid)
- Employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
