Job Opportunity: NICU Registered Nurse

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must have 2 years of NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU.
• Required to work 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
• Must be willing to work on July 3rd or 4th.
• Epic experience within the last 12 months is required and must be detailed on the profile.
• Flu vaccine is mandatory; no exemptions accepted.
• Both local nurses and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • STABLE certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

• Candidates must pass an Epic test (one attempt only) prior to or shortly after start. Failure to pass results in contract cancellation.
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start.
• Background check must be fully completed no later than 4 weeks from start date or contract termination may occur.
• No PAPR masks allowed; failure to pass fit test will result in contract cancellation.

Prior Travel Experience

• No prior travel experience required.
