Job Opportunity: Angiographer

Location: Murray, Utah

Job Summary

• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification.
• Prepare patients for exams using appropriate body mechanics.
• Identify proper exams based on patient needs and utilize correct exam techniques.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality images.
• Complete all required documentation accurately, including time stamps and image storage.
• Maintain work area and stock necessary supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Develop knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, including indications, applications, and deployment techniques.
• At procedure end, apply closure devices, suture sheaths, or remove sheaths and apply pressure to achieve hemostasis.
• Understand and apply principles of x-ray generation and safety.
• Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort.
• Assist procedurally as circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech according to lab policies and scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Utah.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year.
