Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER)

Location: Show Low, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

A regional hospital in the White Mountains of Arizona is seeking an ER travel nurse. This role offers the chance to work in a Level IV Trauma Center with a busy emergency department averaging 100 patients per day. The ER includes 30 private rooms, a six-room observation unit, 6 fast track beds, and specialized seclusion and monitored rooms.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shift: 3x12 hour day shifts
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Support staff: 5 techs during peak hours
• EMR system: Allscripts - Sunrise
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Scrub color: Anything except all black (scrubs not provided)

Patient Population

• All types including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Certifications required:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
