Description

Travel Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - New Mexico

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (floating and call required)

Job Description

Work on a general medical-surgical inpatient nursing unit
Patient ratio approximately 1:6
Blocked scheduling may be accommodated (must be specified in submission)
No 48-hour guarantees
Scrub color: Any
Electronic Medical Record system: MedHost
On-call only required for census flex prior to scheduled shift if census is low

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Fingerprints required for all travelers in New Mexico (agency must be registered with the state for fingerprinting process)

Additional Information

Floating and call responsibilities are part of the shift
No regular on-call schedule for Med-Surg nurses except as noted above
