Description

Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry (Day Shift)

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Primarily assigned to the 4 South Cardiac unit.
Occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
Schedule: 36 hours per week, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
Every other weekend required.
No call requirement.

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in Ohio.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 3 years of recent/current Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
Must be able to read Telemetry; competency will be tested on day one. Failure to pass will result in termination.
Proficiency in Epic EMR is mandatory; refresher training or 1:1 shadowing is not provided. Lack of Epic proficiency will result in termination.

Additional Information

Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract.
All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
Compliance with contract start/end dates and requested time off is strictly enforced.
