Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients, following approved protocols and department policies. Responsibilities include:

Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintaining airways and ventilator management
Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
Conducting pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wyoming
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Must be able to follow facility protocols and work collaboratively with medical staff
