Registered Nurse (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week (12 hours each), 18:45 - 07:15
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: Required to float within scope of practice, including to facilities within a 25-mile radius if needed

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- This position requires a nurse who can work nights and is comfortable floating to nearby facilities as needed.
- The NICU provides care for neonates with a patient ratio of 3:1.
- No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this role.
