Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist in the general operating room when there are no CVOR cases; this is an expectation of all staff.
- Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff for clinical fit and compliance with guidelines before final manager interview.
- May care for COVID-19 patients.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
Work Schedule
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
- Weekends: As needed
- Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1 to 2 weekends per month
- Holidays: As needed
- Floating: Not applicable
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Background checks including 7-year criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and Pennsylvania-specific fingerprinting and child abuse clearances.
- PA FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days.
- Education verification of highest degree.
- Professional references: 2 required within 3 years.
- Skills checklist and performance evaluations as applicable.
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
- Immunizations and health requirements including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (vaccines or positive titers)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella (vaccines or positive titer)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption/declination
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (for agency use only).
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually.
- Completion of facility-specific documents including code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, and health & wellness commitments.
- Passport-style professional photo for badge.
Additional Notes
- Candidate must be prepared for clinical screening and manager interview.
- Facility requires a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
- New hire orientation and online learning modules must be completed by specified deadlines.
- Floating is not required for this position.
