Description
Cath Lab Technologist – Houston, Texas
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hour day shifts (7 AM – 5 PM)
Call: 4-5 times per month, including 1 weekend per month
Workload:
- 11 labs
- 40-50 cases per day (EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases)
- Minimum of 3 days per month on call
Facility Info:
- 719-bed Level I Trauma center
- Electronic Medical Record system: Epic
Required Qualifications
- BLS Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification
- Experience with relevant cardiac cath lab equipment
