Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients.
Participate in patient and family teaching.
Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
Must be willing to float to other units as needed, including higher patient ratio, lower acuity custodial patients.
Use of Epic EMR system required.
Traveler must provide professional scrubs (no logos).
Own vehicle required for this assignment.
No shift accommodation requests (e.g., block scheduling) will be considered.
48-hour guarantee is not available for this assignment.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

Facility will not consider local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility.
Traveler may be required to float to other units as needed.
No orientation hours required.
Dress code: traveler-provided professional scrubs without logos.
EMR system used: Epic.
