Registered Nurse - Radiology

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology
Beds: 2 IR Suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane)
Staff: 5 nurses, 5 techs
Equipment: Philips Bi-Plane, GE Monitoring, GE Mac Lab
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Experience in ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Experience in ED (Emergency Department)

Preferred Qualifications

Moderate Sedation experience
Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience

Typical Procedures

EKOS
Angiograms
Trevo
Cerebral Coiling
Biopsies

Work Schedule

1 weekend per month
1 call night per week

Personality Fit

Able to work independently and as part of a team
