Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

Location: Soldotna, Alaska
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Summary

Provide physical therapy services including evaluations, patient treatments, modalities, documentation, and customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Valid Alaska Physical Therapist (PT) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Experience

• Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated beyond licensure requirement (assume entry-level or as per licensure)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, typical hours 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (may be negotiable)
• 3-4 weekends per year
• On-call as needed

• Department orientation and competency training within first 90 days
• Department mentor assigned

Additional Notes

• Up to 24 hours call-off allowed during the 13-week assignment period without penalty
• Local placements accepted with standard pay and overtime policies
• Overtime paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
