Description
Respiratory Therapist - Nights
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts, with on-call responsibilities.
- Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU.
- Must have excellent critical care and ventilator skills.
- Must have neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC (CRT not accepted).
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required by licensure.
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
- Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) – all required.
- Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience.
- Prior travel experience required; not open to first-time travelers.
Additional Information
- Traveler housing may be available (furnished studio or one-bedroom apartments near the facility).
- Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
