Description

Respiratory Therapist - Days (Part Time)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Work schedule: 2 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts
No on-call required
Must have excellent critical care and ventilator skills
Experience caring for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU
Neonatal and pediatric experience required, including Level 2 NICU

Required Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC certification (CRT not accepted)
Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program
Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license
Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) – all required
Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
Prior travel experience required; not considering first-time travelers

Additional Information

Traveler housing may be available (furnished studio or one-bedroom apartments near the facility)
Radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

Documents Required with Application

Skill sheet demonstrating experience with adult, pediatric, and Level 2 NICU patients
Current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)
Colorado RT license in good standing
Resume
