Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 16-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 1:4
Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
Unit cares for emergent, urgent, and trauma cases
Equipment used includes cardiac monitors and bladder scan
Electronic Health Record system: Medhost EDIS
Occasional float requirements
No call requirements
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Skills/Experience required:
- Port access
- Cardiac drip management
- Moderate sedation

Work Environment & Culture

Team-based approach
Ability to maintain calmness under pressure
Dress code: Black scrubs; no t-shirts, capris, inappropriate wording/pictures on clothing, or open-toe shoes
