Description

MRI Technologist

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable day shift hours (5x8s)
Call: Every 4th weekend (Saturday/Sunday 8:00 am - Noon), possible holiday call (8:00 am - Noon), no weekday call required

Job Description

Operate MRI scanners/equipment to produce diagnostic images demonstrating anatomical or physiological structures.
Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and providers for diagnosis or treatment.
Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, MRI safety, technical factors, and basic computer skills.
Work independently and cooperatively within the department and hospital-wide.
Provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
Competent in all routine MRI protocols and procedures, MRI safety, and patient care for all populations.
Preferred experience with GE MRI equipment.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
ARRT certification required.
MRI Board Certification required.

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Must be able to work weekends on call rotation.
Emphasis on patient care and teamwork skills.
No weekday call required.
