Occupational Therapist (Outpatient) - Arizona

Location: Bullhead City, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Weekend shifts required

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons, maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include:

Evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs
Participating in discharge planning
Performing administrative duties
Participating in performance improvement activities
Pursuing professional growth
Other duties as assigned

Caseload & Schedule

6 to 8 patients per day
Proposed weekly schedule: Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 5 PM, Friday 8 AM – 1 PM
Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist within the last year
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or an advanced degree in Occupational Therapy

Additional Information

Setting: Outpatient
Documentation systems used: ReDoc for outpatient, MedHost for inpatient
COVID-19 vaccination not required
